Prayer forbids indecency

The word “obscenity” is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an in its various conjugations, and its common meaning is to associate it with sex, whether by word or deed, which made all interpreters of the Holy Text when they enter any verse in which the word “obscenity” is mentioned in its various conjugations, they directly associate it with sex, without stripping it of the common terminological association and returning it to its linguistic connotation and general use.
Obscenity is a word used to describe something that exceeds acceptable or expected limits, whether in morals, money, or behavior, and carries a negative connotation.
Whoever possesses wealth that exceeds the expected limits, we describe him as obscenely wealthy, and who puts high and unacceptable profits on his goods, we describe them as obscene profits, and if someone uses obscene words in his speech, we describe him by saying obscene, and so on, obscenity refers to exceeding what is reasonable and is not related only to sex, so in the Holy Quran we need to stop in every verse in which the word obscene or obscene is mentioned to know what thing has exceeded the limits according to the wording of the subject in the verses before and after the verse, not whenever we find the word obscene we interpret it directly as sexual practice.
As for the conjugation of obscenity, it differs in that it is not plural and not singular, but an adjective for the act in the event of its spread and appearance. Obscenity and obscenity are confined, but if they spread and multiply in society, the situation is described as obscenity, so Satan’s goal is to spread obscenity until it becomes common and turns into obscenity to enable it in society and destroy it, and in return God sets limits and ends for us to recognize it and prevent its spread.
obscenity:
The word obscenity is associated in the Holy Quran with God, prayer, and Satan:
نهي الله عن الفحشاء:
Allah commands justice, benevolence, and giving to one’s neighbor, and forbids indecency, abomination, and tyranny, so that you may remember.
Bee 9
الصلاة تنهى عن الفحشاء:
Recite what has been revealed to you from the Book and observe the prayer, for the prayer forbids indecency and abomination, and the remembrance of Allah is greater, and Allah knows what you do.
Spider 45
الشيطان يأمر بالفحشاء:
O mankind, eat from what is on the earth as good food, and do not follow the footsteps of Satan, for he is a clear enemy to you; he only commands you to do evil and obscenity, and to say against Allah what you do not know.
Al-Baqarah 168/169
Satan promises you poverty and commands you to commit obscenity, but Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and favor, and Allah is all-knowing and all-powerful.
Al-Baqarah/26
O you who believe, do not follow the footsteps of the devil, and whoever follows the footsteps of the devil, for he commands obscenity and abomination.
But Allah makes whoever He wills, and Allah is all-knowing and all-hearing.
Al-Noor/21
We note that God does not forbid obscenity or indecency, but forbids obscenity; likewise, prayer does not forbid obscenity or indecency, but forbids obscenity; likewise, Satan does not command obscenity or indecency, but commands obscenity; this observation leads us to realize that obscenity is a large group that includes obscenity and indecency.
The word obscenity consists of the word obscenity with the letter “A”, as obscenity is that which exceeds the limit of words and deeds, and the letter “A” indicates the horizontal extension of this increase, which shows us that the word (obscenity) indicates exceeding the acceptable limit in words or deeds and exceeding it in the number of people who practice it and (and exceeding the number in those who practice obscenity indicates its prevalence and this is exactly what Satan is calling for).
Abominations:
The word Fawahsh is mentioned in the Holy Quran in four places, before each word (Fawahsh) is a key word that tells us the type of Fawahsh that we can know, meaning that there are different types of Fawahsh, not whenever we find the word (Fawahsh) in the Quran, we think it is the same type of Fawahsh in our memory, the categories of Fawahsh are determined by the type of command before it (forbidden abominations, abominations that are forbidden to approach, or abominations that we are commanded to avoid):
Say: My Lord has forbidden obs cenity, bothvisible and invisible, iniquity and unrighteousness, and that you should make a polytheistic alliance with Allah unless He has given you authority, and that you should say against Allah what you do not know.
Customs 33
O Come, let us recite what your Lord has forbidden to you, that you should have nothing in common with Him, and that you should not kill your children out of want, for we will provide for you and them. And do not commit abominations what is revealed and what is hidden, and do not kill the soul that Allah has forbidden except by right; this is what you have been commanded to do, that you may be wise.
Al-Anam 151
Those who avoid the gravest sins and abominations, and when they are angry, they forgive.
Shura 37/38
Those who abstain from the gravest of sins and immoralities, except for the indiscretions, for your Lord is most forgiving. He knows you best when He created you from the earth and when you were fetuses in your mothers’ wombs, so do not exalt yourselves, for He knows best who is pious.
Star 32
The first type of abominations (Say: “My Lord has forbidden all abominations, both visible and hidden):
O children of man, take your adornment at every mosque, eat and drink, and do not be extravagant, for He does not love the extravagant. Say: Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah, which He has brought forth for His slaves, and the good things of life, Say: These are for those who believe in this world, exclusive for them on the Day of Resurrection. On the Day of Resurrection, we will detail the verses for those who know. Say: “My Lord forbids obscenity, what is apparent and what is hidden, iniquity and wrongdoing without right, and to make a polytheistic alliance with Allah unless He has given Him authority, and to say against Allah what you do not know.
Al-A’raf 31/33
No one has the authority to prohibit, not even the Prophet (peace be upon him), and as long as the one who prohibits is Allah, the Creator of man and the one who created the world of the unseen and the witness in which man lives, then everything that Allah forbids man has to do with the origin of his creation and the origin of the creation of the world in which man lives. Therefore, when God Almighty says, “Say, ‘My Lord has forbidden all abominations, both apparent and internal,'” then the abominations forbidden to man have to do with the nature of his creation and thus affect his body harmfully, and from the context of the verses we can deduce these abominations, as the two verses preceding this verse talk about eating and drinking, not being extravagant, and the good things of sustenance:
O children of man, take your adornment at every mosque, eat and drink, and do not be extravagant, for He does not love the extravagant. Say: Who has forbidden the adornment of Allah, which He has brought forth for His slaves, and the good things of life, Say: These are for those who believe in this world, exclusive for them on the Day of Resurrection. On the Day of Resurrection, we will detail the verses for those who know. Say: “My Lord forbids obscenity, what is revealed and what is hidden, iniquity and wrongdoing without right, and to make a polytheistic alliance with Allah unless He has given Him authority, and to say against Allah what you do not know.
Therefore, the forbidden abominations have to do with the type of eating and drinking and their excesses, and thus their impact on the nature of the human being’s creation according to the limits of his normal vital signs. Any human being has fixed vital signs such as blood pressure 120/80, blood sugar rate 90/125 mg/dl, and normal weight that is related to body height, for example, a person 175 cm tall, his normal weight between 75/80 kg and so on, so if any of these readings exceed the normal limit, then the readings will be obscene, and any eating or drinking that raises them is among the forbidden obscenities, for example, excess salt for a pressure patient is obscene, and sugar For a diabetic patient, sugar is among the abominations, and sugary and starchy foods for those who are overweight are among the abominations, and you can eat sweets and pickles in public in front of people and you can eat them in secret, so God forbids (abominations, what appears and what is hidden) and these prohibitions from God to preserve the nature of the human body, which is precisely what the doctor orders from the list of prohibitions (prohibitions) for patients with diabetes, pressure, kidney disease, and obesity.
If a person weighs more than a hundred kilograms, his weight is obscene, but if the rate of weight gain in a society is more than eighty percent, then the weight in the society is obscene, i.e. the prevalence of obscene weight.
The second type (And do not approach the abominations of what is revealed and what is hidden):
Say: Come, let us recite what your Lord has forbidden to you, namely, that you should have nothing in common with Him, and that you should not kill your children out of necessity; we will provide for you and them, and that you should not commit abominations, both outward and inward, nor kill the soul that Allah has forbidden except by right; this is what He has commanded you, so that you may be wise.
Anam 151
Proximity is a word that denotes proximity, but it is a word that denotes an action that, once started, does not stop until what it is approaching is realized, either because of an involuntary attraction to what you are approaching or because it is a programmed law that, once started, will inevitably be completed, such as :
The hour is near and the moon has split:
We understand that the conditions for the fulfillment of the hour have begun and will inevitably be fulfilled.
O you who believe, do not approach the prayer when you are drunk until you know what you are saying:
As long as prayer is an interactive state, if you approach it, you will definitely interact with the congregation. If you are drunk, you will not know what you are saying and you will not know what the congregation is saying with you, so Allah Almighty forbids approaching it in a state of drunkenness because the purpose of it is knowledge.
And do not approach the money of the orphan except in the manner that is best:
If you approach the money of orphans and vulnerable people, or any money under your trust, and you find no oversight or accountability, this approach pushes you to repeat the approach and encroachment.
Therefore, when God Almighty says, “Do not approach obscenity,” it shows us that the type of obscenity here is attractive according to human nature, and it includes all sexual and financial obscenity to which the human soul is attracted if approached, and approaching obscenity may be outward or inward, if a single individual practices any type of verbal or actual sexual obscenity, then he has committed an obscenity, but if this obscenity spreads in society and becomes commonplace, then it is called an obscenity.
The third type of abomination: (those who avoid the major sins and abominations, except for sexual immorality):
And those who avoid the gravest sins and abominations, and when they are angry, they forgive.
Shura 37/38
Those who abstain from the gravest of sins and immoralities, except for the indiscretions, for your Lord is most forgiving. He knows you best when He created you from the earth and when you were fetuses in your mothers’ wombs, so do not exalt yourselves, for He knows best who is pious.
Star 32
To avoid something is to stay away from it, and avoidance is always for something that is available to you, so the abominations we are commanded to avoid are abominations that are available to you, but if you do them, they will harm you, so we are commanded to avoid them.
An example of the abominations that are in front of us and available to us are all the legacies of the jurisprudence of previous nations that they made for their societies and that conflict with our societies and limit their movement, so doing them and working with them is considered a departure and transgression against society, and therefore they are abominations that we are commanded to avoid and make jurisprudence for our time:
When they commit an abomination, they say, “We found our fathers guilty of it, and Allah has commanded us to do so.” Say: “Allah does not command abomination; do you speak against Allah what you do not know?
Norms 28
Another example of an abomination that must be avoided is revealing the secrets of the home, as in the verse on divorce:
O Prophet, when you divorce your wives, divorce them for their waiting period, and count the number of days, and fear Allah, your Lord, and do not cast them out of their homes, nor let them go out unless they commit a clear obscenity, and those are the limits of Allah, and whoever transgresses the limits of Allah has wronged himself, for you do not know that Allah may bring about a new order after that.
Divorce 1
O you who believe, it is not lawful for you to inherit women against their will, and do not tie them up to go away with some of what you have given them, except if they commit gross indecency; and if you hate them, it is unlikely that you will hate something, and Allah will make much good in it.
Women 19
These verses are talking about the secrets that go on in homes, so here the fornication that any of the women do is fornication (revealing) the secrets that go on in the home, so it is one of the fornications that we must avoid because they are secrets that are available to us and we do not have the right to publish them, so they must be avoided.
In the next verse, obscenity is the secrets of the prophet’s house or the leader’s house:
O women of the Prophet, whoever among you commits a flagrant indecency, the punishment will be doubled for her, and this is easy for Allah.
Parties 30
The obscenity shown here is any act or saying that exceeds the permissible limit of information that reveals and shows what goes on inside the Prophet’s house or the leader’s house, which is considered revealing the secrets of the state, and the privacy of the status of the Prophet’s women or the leader’s women, and the social and economic status they acquire as a result of their status, so their punishment is commensurate with their acquisitions. Their punishment is commensurate with their acquisitions, so her torment is doubled if she reveals any state secrets, which is one of the abominations that must be avoided by the Prophet’s women, and it is an offense to the Prophet and the Prophet’s women to think that obscenity is sexual obscenity within the Prophet’s house when we limit the connotation of obscenity only to sex.
Therefore, we conclude that the lamam in (those who avoid the gravest sins and abominations except lamam) refers to taking information from the heritage or from what goes on in homes that does not reach the stage of obscenity, and even this lam requires forgiveness, and therefore the lam has nothing to do with sexual immorality because it is the sexual immorality that is mentioned in the formula “do not approach”. It has nothing to do with sexual advances because the sexual abominations are the ones that came in the form of “do not approach,” while the abominations that are avoided are not sexual abominations, so the first interpreters were wrong when they mixed the two abominations, and from there they reached a strange opinion about the lamam, as Abu Huraira, Ibn Abbaas and Al-Sha’bi said: (“All that is less than adultery. Similarly, Ibn Mas’ud, Abu Sa’id al-Khudari, Hudhayfah and Masrouq said: All that is less than sexual intercourse, such as a kiss, a glance, a glance, and intercourse.
Types of abominations:
The act of obscenity:
Those who spend in good times and bad times, those who suppress anger, those who spare people, and those who forgive others, and Allah loves the righteous, and those who, when they commit a sin or wrong themselves, remember Allah and ask for forgiveness for their sins, and who forgives sins except Allah, and do not insist on what they have done when they know it.
Al-Imran 134/135
The fornication here can be stopping spending, showing anger, or not forgiving people, and this fornication is overcome by forgiveness and stopping doing it, and these are among the forbidden fornications because they are related to injustice to the soul and the law of adornment of money by spending, anger increases pressure and diabetes, and not forgiving people generates psychological pressure that can lead to death, and therefore not insisting on doing the fornication, forgiveness and repentance leads to returning to the normal limits of human biometrics.
And do not marry what your fathers married among women, except for what has already been preceded, for it was an abomination, an abomination, and a bad way.
Women 22
Fornication is one of the abominations that we should not approach because it is a sexual abomination.
They came up with an obscenity:
And whoever among you cannot afford to marry a believing woman, then whoever is unable to marry a believing woman from among your believing girls, and Allah knows your faith better than some of you, then marry them with the permission of their families and give them their wages in a manner that is customary. And if they are immunized, and if they commit adultery, they shall incur half the punishment of those who commit adultery, but that is for those of you who fear infidelity, and if you are patient, it is better for you, and God is forgiving and merciful.
Women 25
It can be a verbal obscenity such as throwing her husband (accusing him of the crime of adultery), then her punishment, because she is lesser than those who are protected, will be half of the punishment. If the one who throws her husband is protected and does not bring four witnesses, her punishment is eighty lashes, then her punishment will be forty lashes.
Committing obscenity:
And those who commit adultery among your women, testify against them by four of you, and if they testify, then keep them in their homes until they die, or Allah will make a way for them.
Women 15
And Lot, when he said to his people, “Do you commit sexual immorality while you see, that you lust after men rather than women, but you are an ignorant people.
Ant 54/55
The fornication here is practicing homosexuality, which is one of the abominations (forbidden, which we do not approach, and which we avoid), meaning that all three cases apply to it, because it subverts the sexual nature of humans, because they interact and have sexual attraction, and because the same sex is available and available.
O mankind, eat from what is on the earth in good health, and do not follow the footsteps of Satan, for he is a clear enemy to you. He only commands you to do evil and obscenity, and to say against Allah what you do not know. When it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has revealed,” they say, “We follow what our fathers taught us,” or if their fathers did not know anything and were not guided.
Al-Baqarah 168/169
O you who believe, spend from the good things of what you have earned, and from what We have brought forth for you from the earth, and do not devour the bad things from it, and you will not take them, except to cover them up, and know that Allah is rich and bountiful. Satan promises you poverty and commands you to obscenity, but Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and favor, and Allah is vast and all-knowing.
Al-Baqarah 267/268
O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of the devil, and whoever follows the footsteps of the devil, he commands obscenity and abomination.
And by His mercy, none of you would ever have made anyone of you good, but Allah makes whomever He wills, and He is all-knowing and all-hearing.
Al-Noor 19/21
Recite what has been revealed to you from the Book and observe the prayer, for the prayer forbids indecency and abomination, and the remembrance of Allah is greater, and Allah knows what you do.
And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except with that which is best, except those among them who have done wrong, and say, “We believe in that which has been revealed to us and that which has been revealed to you, and our God and your God are one and the same, and to Him we are Muslims.

Spider 45
Prayer forbids indecency:
Recite what has been revealed to you from the Book and observe the prayer, for the prayer forbids indecency and abomination, and the remembrance of Allah is greater, and Allah knows what you do.
Definition of prayer:
Prayer is a means of communication between two parties carried out by an individual or a group of people, the purpose of which is to transfer knowledge or orders from the first party source, and this source may be God, a human being (prophet, leader or manager) or a knowledge source such as the experiences and expertise of a group or individuals or the Book of God, through prayer this knowledge is transferred to the second party (the receiver) and this second party may be an individual, a group or a database in which the experiences transferred from the first party are stored.
The prayer that will be held here according to the verse will be performed by an individual or a specialized group, its source is the inspired book, and its purpose is to forbid obscenity, and in order to define prayer here, we start with the definition of forbidding.
End: A word that denotes an end and an attainment, we say that the lecture is over, meaning it has reached its end, i.e. it has reached the limit set for it, and the end is a word that denotes the attainment of an end or limit.
If you say to a person, “I forbid you to do such and such” or “I forbid you to do such and such”, then the prohibition is complete and includes not even starting it, but if you say, “I forbid you from such and such”, it means that you set a limit for him that he has no right to exceed.
From here, we try to know how prayer prohibits (from) obscenity, and as we said earlier, obscenity is exceeding the limit in the act, and exceeding the limit in the number of people practicing the act.
(The prohibition of forbidding is not exceeding the limit, and the prohibition of obscenity is not exceeding the acceptable limit and preventing it from becoming obscene, widespread, and common.
Then we will arrive at the conclusion that the prayer that forbids obscenity, which comes from the book according to the verse (Recite what has been revealed to you from the book and establish the prayer), is a specialized group whose job is to communicate with the book to derive the limits and ends of obscenity in any society, so there is a prayer to determine the permissible ends of society on the level of sexual relations, and there is a prayer from a specialized group whose job is to determine the permissible ends of the human body and its relationship with food and drink. There is prayer from a specialized group whose job is to determine the permissible limits for the human body and its relationship with food and drink, and there is prayer from a group specialized in the laws of social organization whose job is to determine the permissible limits for individuals within society according to the laws of its organization.
Therefore, praying from the book is a prayer to deduce and set the permissible limits beyond which we reach the state of transgression and obscenity.
